Top Beaches to visit in Goa

Goa is a state in south India and is popularly known as the fun capital of India. It is the best travel destination in India, youths from all over India come here to have fun.

What comes to your mind when you think about Goa? Definitely, Chilling out at the beach would be your first thought probably with a beer in hand. We will start with the most populous beaches and then move on to the lonely beaches.


1. Calangute Beach

Calangute Beach is known as Queen of beaches. Located in the north Goa the beach is the biggest in the area. Taste the authentic seafood at the beach, the beach has many bars and restaurants.

Also, there are many watersports at the beach, but they are open during summers only. 

2. Anjuna Beach

The Anjuna beach is famous for nightlife activities, bars, western seafood, etc. As a result, this place is most popular among foreign tourists. 

3. Baga Beach

The most popular and most visited beach by domestic as well as foreign tourists. This place is mostly crowded; if you love to stay in crowds then this beach is for you. 

4. Sinquerim Beach

Yet another popular beach of goa, the view of the sea from the Sinquerim Fort(Fort Aguda) is awesome you can sit here and watch the sea rise for hours. The fort is an example of brilliant engineering and architecture. The beach is house to many water sports. Though the beach is crowded during summers but a must visit place in Goa.


Let's move to the not so crowded, beautiful beaches in Goa. 

5. Kakolem Beach



Kakolem beach is one of the most unexplored beaches in Goa. The beach is popularly known Tiger beach. Tired of seeing the crowds at Calangute, Anjuna , and Baga beaches then visit this beach. Due to the terrain it is difficult to reach the beach and so is less crowded, but the beach is just awesome.

How to get here?
The easy way is to take a ride a ship to this beach. But I would love to reach here by walking through the difficult terrain. I will create a guide as to how to reach this beach via land with photographs and map. Like our Facebook page to get notified.

6. Butterfly Beach

Butterfly beach is another isolated beach in Goa and is located on the Butterfly island. The Only way to reach here is by boat from paolem beach.

7. Ashwem Beach

Ashwen Beach is yet another isolated beach, you will hardly find few foreigners in this beach enjoying the beautiful coast and water. The Ashwem beach is famous for the Olive Ridley Turtles, they come here to lay the eggs.

8. Betul Beach

The Betul Beach is at the place where the river Sai river meets the sea, this place reminds the fishermen's of the 17th century.
