It actually depends on the places you want to visit. If you want to enjoy adventure sports at Rohtang pass then May is the best time.

October to February is the best time to enjoy the cold at Manali. Overall the period after retreating monsoon is considered as best time to visit Manali.

How to reach Manali?

By Air: The nearest airport is at Bhuntar, which is at a distance of 50km from Manali. The airport is connected by domestic flights from Delhi and Chandigarh. Once at the airport you can hire a taxi and reach Manali. Not a reliable way, as weather changes suddenly causing the cancellation of flights.

By Bus: Manali is at a distance of  550 km from Delhi. There are state owned and private busses running between Delhi and Manali. I suggest you to take a semi-sleeper or a ac bus as the journry is long. You can book your bus ticket at RedBus.in. Link: https://www.redbus.in/bus-tickets/delhi-to-manali.aspx.

Self Drive: You can drive yourself, but check the weather before leaving and keep tools and enough food with you.

Don't bother disturbing me, I would love hear from you!
