Hubli officially known as Hubballi is the second largest city in Karnataka. The city is popularly known as Chota Mumbai. Hubli is the commercial center and business hub of North Karnataka. Hubli is always known as Commercial Centre and Dharwad as an educational hub. More importantly, it is my hometown.
How to reach Hubli:
• Train: Approx. 8 hours’ journey from Bangalore via express trains
• AirPort: Hubli is well connected via air. There are daily flights running from Bangalore and Mumbai. One-hour journey by air from Bangalore.

Unkal lake is beautiful water spot in Hubli & is about 110 years old. This lake is spread across 200 acres of land. The main attraction is Swami Vivekananda statue situated at the center of lake. The lake houses recreational activities for children.

Neersagar known as Dummadkeri is about 15km away from Hubli on Kalghatgi road between Jodalli and Dummad.
It is an artificial lake built for the purpose of water supply to the Twin cities. It is a famous destination among the youths of Hubli-Dharwad
5. Nrupatunga Betta
Source:Syed Nrupatunga Betta is one of the popular destination in the twin cities. Betta means a hill in Kannada. The views from the hill are breathtaking, Especially the sunset. It is an awesome place to spend some leisure time.
Also, Popular as a dating spot among youths.
6.Hubli Railway Station

Hubli is a headquarters of the south western railway. The railway station is one the best stations in India. It has been upgraded recently. The station houses a food court, waiting longue, etc.
